You Decide: Building Safe Choices in a Digital World

A few weeks ago, we announced our exciting collaboration with The Invictus Project and the Sandhills Boys & Girls Club to launch a new prevention program designed to help youth safely navigate today’s online world.

On July 28th, we had the privilege of presenting You Decide: Building Safe Choices in a Digital World, to more than 50 incredible youth.

What stood out most wasn’t just what we shared, it was what they shared with us.

The conversations were open, thoughtful, and encouraging. These young people wanted to talk about social media, online gaming, friendships, digital choices, and staying safe. Their willingness to participate reminded us that when we create a safe space, youth are eager to learn, ask questions, and be part of the conversation.

Together, we’re equipping young people with knowledge, practical tools, and confidence to recognize online exploitation, make safe choices, and know where to turn for help. Education is one of the most powerful ways we can prevent exploitation before it begins.

The majority of trafficking of our youth begins online. That’s why prevention matters. Every conversation, every lesson, and every young person we empower has the potential to change a life.

We are deeply grateful to the Sandhills Boys & Girls Club for welcoming us, to The Invictus Project for partnering with us on this important initiative, and to the incredible youth who participated with such enthusiasm and openness. Together, we are investing in the safety, confidence, and future of the next generation: one conversation, one decision, and one young life at a time.
